Terms of service
Last updated: June 14th, 2026
Welcome to Flamenco Legacy Academy (flamencolegacyacademy.ca), operated by our family in Ontario, Canada. By using this website or purchasing from our store, you agree to these terms. They're written in plain language on purpose — that's how we'd want it too.
1. The store
Our store and checkout run on Shopify. Prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless stated otherwise, and applicable taxes are added at checkout. We may change prices, products, or availability at any time; changes don't affect orders already placed.
2. Digital products & your license
When you buy a digital issue of Freedom Kids, you're buying a personal, family-use license, not the copyright. Here's what that means in practice:
- You may: download the PDF to your devices, read it with your household, and print copies for use within your own family.
- You may not: resell, redistribute, repost, email, or share the files outside your household, or upload them anywhere public. Each license covers one family.
- Co-ops, churches, and groups: we'd love to equip you properly — contact us for group pricing rather than sharing one copy.
3. Our content
Everything on this site and in the magazine — text, design, illustrations, the Freedom Kids name — belongs to Flamenco Legacy Academy and is protected by copyright. Quoting short excerpts with credit (for a review, a blog post, a co-op newsletter) is welcome; wholesale copying is not.
4. Your conduct
Don't misuse the site: no attempts to break, probe, or overload it, no scraping at scale, and no using it for anything unlawful.
5. Refunds
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which is part of these terms.
6. Disclaimers
The magazine and this website are educational resources offered in good faith. They are provided "as is," and while we pour our hearts into accuracy, we can't guarantee the site will always be available or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that purchase.
7. Third-party links
Where we link to other sites or services (including Shopify checkout), their terms and policies govern your use of them.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in it.
9. Changes
If we update these terms, we'll post the new version here with a new date. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
